Early in the
morning on Thursday, March 6, a group of neo-nazis held a "night
raid" in the empty Law School of Komotini – Greece, throwing
flyers and drawing swastikas on banners and tables of Leftist student
parties. Through the flyers, with the signature "national-socialist
student movement of Komotini" announced that they will take
action in the University.
The Leftist
student parties stated that the neo-nazis have used parts of Hitler's
writings and that they signed as national-socialist student movement
using the Ukrainian neo-nazis' symbol.
They also
stated that, neo-nazis around the world act through a very specific
way, in darkness, from Pavlos Fyssas assassination to the torture of
Ukrainian anti-fascists, and that,
"... it
is now the time, those who seek a political place in the University,
Hitler's political descendants, to learn that we are determined not
to give a minimum space to allow them poison our school with their
bigot theories. We think that fascism should be destroyed in every
social space is born. It is a student movement's case to resist
against fascism and stand against every neo-nazist group."
"Our
answer should come through the collective action and solidarity,
self-organizing and dignity against a state of emergency and the
governments that give birth to fascism. We are not terrified by them.
We are determined to throw them out of every school, every
neighborhood, every place of work."
It appears
that, as the crisis in Greece deepens, neo-nazis invade in every
part of social life.
